Child Safety Standards
Beertime standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
Scope
These standards apply to Beertime, the Beertime mobile app for Android and iOS, user profiles, statuses, place updates, contact matching, chat, uploaded images, reports, and any other user-generated content or conduct in the service.
Prohibited content and conduct
Users must not use Beertime to create, upload, store, share, request, encourage, promote, distribute, or facilitate:
- CSAM or any sexual content involving a minor,
- grooming, sexual solicitation, sextortion, or trafficking of a child,
- instructions, links, coded language, or coordination related to CSAE,
- content or behavior that endangers, exploits, or abuses children.
Reporting in the app
Beertime allows users to report child safety concerns in-app. Users can report concerns from Beertime Settings by contacting support at support@beertime.app. Reports should include the account, chat, profile, status, image, or other context needed to investigate the concern. Users should not send passwords or one-time login codes.
Response to CSAM and CSAE reports
When Beertime obtains actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE, we take appropriate action under these standards and applicable law. This can include restricting or removing content, suspending or deleting accounts, preserving relevant information where legally required or permitted, and escalating confirmed reports to the relevant regional or national authorities.
Legal compliance
Beertime complies with relevant child safety laws and regulations. We maintain a process to review child safety reports and, when required, report confirmed CSAM or CSAE to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional or national authority.
Child safety contact
Google Play, app stores, authorities, users, parents, guardians, and safety organizations can contact Beertime about CSAE or CSAM prevention, reporting, and enforcement at support@beertime.app.
Adults-only service
Beertime is for users 18 and over. Accounts known to be used by minors may be suspended or deleted. The adults-only age rule does not reduce our zero-tolerance approach to CSAE or our legal reporting obligations.
Updates
We may update these standards to reflect changes in Beertime, safety practices, platform requirements, or law. The current version will be available on this page.
